YES YES YES!!! I have been waiting WEEKS for this episode to be dubbed to see if they would use the OG English theme song like they did with the original Japanese OP. AND THEY DID. I was on the COUCH. Then I was on the FLOOR. Then I was crawling back up to the couch and then fell BACK ONTO THE FLOOR. OH THE CULMINATION OF MY CHILDHOOD REACHED ITS PEAK WITH THIS EPISODE. God, I’m gonna kiss Ash and Pikachu so MUCH! TvT

god i cried like a baby throughout this whole episode.

So glad they didn't skip out on the music toward the end, was worried they'd use one of those songs that plays in almost every fight. I hope they don't do that as much for the scarlet and violet anime, also hoping there won't be as big of an episode gap.
